Záznam průběhu obhajoby
Studentka představila svou práci. Po přečtení posudků komise položila následující otázky:
The participants in your study stated that Czech was not the primary language in their home. At the same time, all of them appeared satisfied with their bilingual family experience. With these findings in mind, what would you say is the most convincing argument for heritage language maintenance within bilingual families?
What about the general family environment? How would that influence the bilingual parents? How would that affect the parents within the home?
If you were to conduct this research again what would you do differently and why?
Define simultaneous and successive bilingualism.
Was it possible to apply case study in your research?
Is there any further explanation as to why?
One of your respondents referred to code-switching as a negative thing. Do you agree with that?
