The student presented her bachelor thesis.
Q: Bell: What is your personal experience with this business and can you introduce any real results? A: I am a makeup artist in Mexico, teenagers come to us with pictures what they want, you need to be very constant to be great in this industry, it is difficult to get interest from customers. My motivation is Michelle Phan, and I love make up. Q: Bell: What about men? A: Women have more self-esteem problems than men but there are also male gurus giving advice. Q: Bell: What about interest in whitening products in Mexico? A: Yes, it is very popular in MAC company, it also helps with other skin problems. Q: Bell: Are there any differences among other countries? A: Europe is fashionable, but in the Czech Republic women do not spend so much time on putting make up as in Mexico, it takes there three hours. Q: Kašpárková: On page 22 you claim that all teenagers are surfing on internet daily without any limits, can you be more specific and support your statement by some data? A: 95 per cent of children are not aware of how long they spend on internet according to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.Q: Kašpárková: In your opinion who is to be blamed for such low self confidence among teenagers concerning physical appearance.A: Values and principles they do not receive from parents.
Q:Emonds: What percentage of your costumers suffer from self-esteem?
A: Girls believe makeup helps them, 42 per cent feels ugly without makeup, 38 normal and the rest pretty.
Q:Trčková: Advertisement for girls below 15 should be banned,do you agree?
A: Yes, girls are being sexualized, it is very bad, and yes it should be banned in some places.
Q: Mikeska: Your business is not about you are beautiful but about you are ugly so buy our products.
A: Well yes, but physically they can look very good and mentally they can feel even better.
